Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 1294

In Hermit's Hovel members of The Legacy hid in silence. They could hear the chaos from outside the doors and were unsure of what to do. Dean insisted that they stay and that he create a diversion for the group to get away. An hour or so passed and it seemed like many of the members fell into a slumber. When Dorion started to stand up it alerted Trunks and Shiva who quickly rushed to his side. Dorion smirked weakly telling them that he could see again and whatever had happened to him earlier had passed. This brought a gentle smirk upon both Tuya and Zakuro's faces as they too watched him on. When they finally settled down the group decided that they were to walk outside and see if the coast was clear.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 1295

Dorion and Trunks lead the way out of the cabin and could see that they were all safe to come out. There were no Red Veil Members in sight this time around. Dorion tried to look for Dean but he was no longer in sight. Dorion observed the ground to see if there were any clues left behind and Dorion could see that a fight occurred on the top of the hill. Dorion could see track marks which led him to believe that Dean fought off members of the Veil and he found continuous marks along the road that showed it was a struggle. This concerned many of the members of the group to see where it would lead them to. The Legacy took many tumbles along their journey but, from the clues left behind they were headed to Limsa Lominsa.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 1296

As they made their way into the abandoned port town Dorion would look around to see if there were any beggars in the streets that he could speak to. Shiva stayed close to Trunks expressing her worry for Dean and he assured her that he was fine and a tough man like him would easily take down a few members or two. Finally, Dorion came across a beggar who let him know that they did see someone who fits the description of Dean. The beggar let Dorion know that there was a struggle between him and the Red Veil members as they went along their way. As Dorion rushed back to the group a sudden headache came on, it seems that he was not the only one affected by this. The members of Legacy all clung to each other as visions filled their minds.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 1297

In their first vision, the group could see Dean in a cold dark cell. The location was unknown to them but, from what they could see there were no grave injuries to him. Outside of his cell they could see a familiar face that they knew, it was Tarno Shodai. Tarno met at Camp Drybone long ago. He seemed to be interested in Dean so he asked a guard to give them some time alone so he could find out information on The Legacy. The guard agreed and let Tarno in. Once the guard was gone Tarno began to ask him what he should know about the group and why Dean was with them in the first place. Dean explained to Tarno that The Legacy only wanted to see Eorzea strive and survive. Dean had seen so much loss and wanted justice for his lover E'ra and the people of Ishgard. This somehow resonated with Tarno so he and Dean began to discuss the matters further.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 1298

The Legacy was on a ship headed to the Shrouds to follow the Red Veil's trail when the vision ended for them. Shiva decided to speak and say how it seemed that Tarno was on their side. Trunks and Dorion agreed while for the moment both Tuya and Zakuro remained unmoved. Dorion insisted that they continue on the path to see if they could find where Tarno and Dean were. As their ship traveled through the rivers of Central Shroud another vision came over the group. They were back into the cell with Dean and Tarno and it seemed that the two men agreed. Tarno was moved by Dean's words and wanted to help him get out of the cell. Tarno knew that for the Legacy to succeed they would need to get Dean back to his group. As the two men shared a fist bump a guard came in to see their interaction. Sensing Tarno's betrayal the guard was ready to alert the others of an escape. Before the man could make the call Tarno tossed Dean his weapon and Dean led a sword through the man's chest killing him instantly. Tarno suggested that they hurry because he was unsure of who was lingering around.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 1299

Another vision came to a close and Shiva was now worried thinking of the danger they were in. Trunks agreed to say that once the guard's body was found it would be a matter of time before they were ambushed by others. Zakuro seemed to disagree and felt that if they were to go find Dean and Tarno it would only cause more of a problem and risk them all getting killed. She also wrote in her notebook for a group that was trying to survive and was getting captured too often. Tuya seemed to be on the fence about the matter whereas Dorion tried to understand everyone's perspective. He agreed with Zakuro that finding them was a bit risky however, he felt that if they did not get to them that they would get themselves killed. Dorion explained how Red Veil assassins would trail them and the two men would perish over time if they did not step in. As the group discussed what they all felt another echo vision came onto them. This time they could see Dean and Tarno running down a long corridor however, this time Dorion saw something that caused an alert. He could see his younger brother Delgado tracking them. His brother was trained to be a killer and he knew that if they weren't alert he could kill them easily on his own. Dorion explained that Delgado was a swift killer and he would do anything in his power to take them down. Dorion expressed that they needed to find Tarno and Dean, if anyone didn't want to go on the mission to save them he told them to stay behind.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12100

It seemed as if both Dean and Tarno were in Ala Mhigo which Dorion knew of a pathway through the abandoned Castrum Orien. Shiva, Trunks, and Dorion were willing to move ahead however Zakuro insisted on not involving herself. This angered Dorion as he complained that Zakuro only seemed to care about themselves. Shiva intervened in the argument feeling that Dorion was acting out of haste and frustration so she asked if Dorion could stand down. She handed a linkpearl to Tuya who was still on the fence about this whole situation. Shiva smiled as she handed the linkpearl to Tuya. Shiva explained that should they be in any danger she will use Dorion's linkpearl to call upon them. Shiva trusted that they would follow and that seemed to cause an agreement with the two Aura women for the time being. As they came to that agreement another vision filled Dorion's mind and he could see Dean and Tarno heading to Schism, an abandoned temple across the waterfall from Castrum Orien. Shiva and Trunks agreed to follow him and rushed off with him.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12101

After some time Dorion, Trunks, and Shiva rushed in to see Tarno and Dean hiding inside. Shiva ran to Dean and pulled him into an embrace. This surprised the men and caused them both to be upset to see the members of The Legacy. Dean expressed to Dorion that the whole point of him going to the base of The Red Veil was to blow up the building so that they could kill the Cult members and Dorion's father. Dorion explained to them both that his father hadn't been here for some time however he knew many of the members lived in the lower parts of the temple and often rested in the lower areas. Dean seemed to be excited about taking out the members below them but Dorion interrupted saying that they were in danger. Tarno tried to disagree with Dorion as well, claiming that cult members would not be able to get out because of something the two men were working on and all they had to do was set off the bombs. Before Dorion could explain why they had come here the man who was trailing them finally came out of the clearing. Delgado stood tall laughing maniacally at the group but in his hands, a fiery sword was unsheathed.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12102

Delgado mocked Tarno telling him he always knew that Tarno was not cut out to be a Red Veil Member. He always sensed that Tarno had a good heart and he had been watching over him for months. Delgado had mentioned how he watched how Tarno acted with members and he also recalled how Tarno led the group to Sasha and how he helped The Legacy escape the black markets not too long ago. Tarno stood unsure of what to say but Delgado let everyone know that they would not leave this room alive. He wanted to make sure that everyone died here tonight. Dorion rushed in to fight his brother which alerted Delgado to use magick from their world. Delgado's eyes glow bright white and he chanted a spell under his breath. Dorion was sent into a pillar unable to move. His brother had compelled him to freeze where he stood. Delgado was an ice mage like Shiva and the fact that he held the sword concerned Dorion. Delgado explained how Amara trained him to hold the sword. He knew that this sword was meant for Dean and he wanted Dean to die with this blade. This alerted Tarno and the rest of The Legacy members to fight. Shiva still called to Tuya and Zakuro letting them know they were ambushed by Delgado and they were gonna do their best to take him out but, to also be on alert if they needed to escape. Tuya and Zakuro acknowledged what Shiva said and began to work on a trap outside of the building so that they could help their friends.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12103

Shiva led the battle trying to strike Delgado as fast as she could; however, he met her by raising his weapon to her arm, burning her skin. Shiva shrieked in pain which caused Trunks to jump into action slamming the back of his gun into Delgado's face. The young Vampire hissed, falling back while Trunks led Shiva back to the side. Shiva took a moment to cool her skin prompting Dean and Tarno to try and strike him next. The two men's strikes went unmatched as Delgado dodged them left and right. As he both Tarno and Dean, he mocked them for the desire for the sword and how he wished they would try harder to fight him as he found them to be the weakest members of the Legacy. This angered Trunks causing him to shoot a bullet at Delgado's eye. The bullet was a direct hit that angered the ice mage as he fought harder. Delgado fought back striking Trunks in the chest causing him to feel as if he had a minor heart attack. The pain reminded Trunks of the pain he felt before when the two men battled in Mor Dhona.  Shiva got up once more and blew ice rain towards Delgado. She wanted to prove that she was the superior Ice Mage of  Eorzea and when she snapped her finger the diamond dust cut every inch of Delgado's body causing him major pain. Angered by Shiva's action Delgado drove the sword through Shiva's waist where his Father once stabbed her before. Shiva struggled to stand as blood gushed from her waist which alerted Trunks once again to run to Shiva as he knocked the swords out of Delgado's hand. Shiva mustered the strength she had left to kick the sword further down the hall causing Delgado, Tarno, and Dean to run after the weapon.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12104

Delgado ran as fast as he could bringing him into a clearing where Zakuro and Tuya stood. The women could see him coming so they dropped debris onto him causing him to get trapped under the rubble. Dean grabbed his sword proud to finally hold his Legacy weapon. The spell on Dorion was now broken and he rushed over as fast as he could proud to see that Dean had finally had his weapon. However, the rubble began to crumble and Delgado flew out ready to attack Shiva. He pulled a dagger out from his belt and he shouted that even if Dean had his weapon, killing Shiva would cause unbalance and plunge the world into further chaos. As Delgado tried to stab Shiva, Dean rushed in front of her, taking the dagger deep into his heart. With what he had left in him Dean set off a series of explosions in the temple while also turning the fire blade into Delgado's chest as well. The two men killed each other, leaving the group in shock. Dorion wailed and fell to his knees as two important people in his life were now dead. Delgado, his actual blood brother, and Dean his brother in arms. Shiva rushed over hysterically crying trying to shake Dean and tell him to wake up. Dean utters a few last words about returning to E'ra and his people of Ishgard before falling to his knees with his head slumped over.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12105

Shiva struggles with her injury while she tries to grab Dean from the collapsing building behind them. Trunks helped her move him but sorrow is hidden on both their faces. Tarno walks off to the side a moment to shed a hidden tear for Dean. Somehow in these short moments of them being together, he really grew to love Dean and a part of him wished that Dean did not die at this moment. Tuya and Zakuro knew loss pretty well and they were used to the feeling of losing someone like this. Zakuro had always felt indifferent to the Ishgardian but knew this was hurting the group. Tuya did not seem to care about Dean's death. Instead, Tuya felt that she had lost her source of entertainment; he was her outlet for her rage. As the tears fall the building behind them began to collapse further killing many of the Red Veil members that stood inside. As the rubble continued to fall Shiva tried to move Delgado's body as well.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12106

Dorion could see that Shiva went to touch his brother's body and Dorion shot up telling her to go nowhere near him and he bore his fangs at her. Dorion walked over for a moment to see if there was the possibility of his brother being alive but, by what he could see the blade that Dean had stabbed Delgado with went straight through his heart. If Dean had stabbed him anywhere else Delgado could have faked his Death but a stab wound to the heart was fatal to Vampires. Dorion held the hand of his brother before collapsing against the stairwell as tears fell down his cheek. There was so much pain in his soul at this moment.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12107

Shiva rises to her feet and with what voice she could muster up Shiva reaches out to the group and suggests that the Dean home to Ishgard be buried with E'ra. Trunk and a few of the others agree silently whereas Dorion remained silent on the ground. Tarno offers to help Shiva and the others get his body to Ishgard. Dorion finally rises to his feet and calls for Azul who was not too far away to come with the carriage. The group places his body inside as they make the day-long journey to pay their final respects to their friend.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12108

It was a long journey from Ala Mhigo back to Ishgard and the group took a brief rest in the abandoned Camp Dragonhead before finally heading to the place where Dean would rest. As they traveled up the mountain the snow was heavy and visibility was almost next to nothing. The Legacy stood strong together as they fought their way up the hill and were finally able to lay Dean with E'ra. Tears continued to fall from the eyes of those who were there while Trunks, Shiva, and Dorion said some final words regarding their brother in arms.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12109

Tarno was the last and he walked over and kneeled down to the grave. He thanked Dean for the moments that they had just shared and he promised that he would see that the world is restored. He knew how much Dean wanted to see the world anew someday so he swore that he would continue on the journey for his sake. As Tarno talked to Dean's grave the weapon that laid upon it began to burn once more and turned to ash. The group was shocked for a brief moment unsure of what had just happened.

Episode 11: Dying Light, Eternal Flame 12110

As Tarno reached into the ground he suddenly felt another mental item in the ashes. A female voice called to Tarno and told him that Dean was with her. She thanked Tarno for bringing him home to her and that he is finally at peace. Where they are there is no war and Eorzea is just as they once loved it to be. Dean wanted Tarno to have this sword and to help the Legacy make their Dreams come true. Tarno nods and raises his new weapon to the sky. The snow begins to stop as if this was a rebirth for The Legacy. With the loss of one...a new journey begins. What will happen next for the Legacy?
